Hermès Scarf 90 cm – Au Bout du Monde – Antoine Carbonne after Paul Sérusier (2016)
VENDU
“Au Bout du Monde” (At the End of the World), designed by Antoine Carbonne after the work of Paul Sérusier
Antoine Carbonne draws on “Le Pêcheur à la Laïta”, a painting by Paul Sérusier, co-founder of the Nabis movement at the end of the 19th century. The bold, superb palette of yellow, mauve, ochre, blue and grey enhances this mysterious landscape, framed by a contrasting sky-blue hand-rolled hem. Issued in 2016 as a limited series, this scarf served as the flagship of a charity fighting addiction in Great Britain. Very good condition. Very light stains, marks and soiling. From the private sales: S in pen on the care label only. Priced below its market value to take the light stains into account. Rare and sought after by collectors.
