A word from Diane
Inspired by medieval illuminations and Orthodox iconography, the artist Evgenia Miroshnichenko composes a mosaic of fabulous letters, interwoven with floral motifs, stylised animals and mythological figures. Each character seems to dance in a profusion of colours – imperial green, garnet red, gold and turquoise – evoking ancient manuscripts and the treasures of eternal Russia. Rare and sumptuous, Alphabet Russe embodies the fusion between Byzantine art and Hermès modernity. A marvel!
